ABOUT ME

My name is Chloe Alexandra Collick and I am 19 years old. I became interested in Photography going to Saturday Art Club with Plymouth Collage of Art. I then got a scholarship with the Sorrow Foundation to do a second year. After I finished Higher education I went to Plymouth Collage of Art to study an level 2 Extended Diploma in photography. This is where I started to find which area of photography I wanted to get into. At first I wanted to do everything, Fashion, Portraits, Landscape.

However, I was born with Autism, something that has always been used against me. While at collage I got injured where I wouldn't stop bleeding so had to go to hospital where I was refused treatment for 6 hours due to the fact I was Autistic and they were worried that I mentally did not understand the staff so would have a meltdown with treatment. Even though I am like everyone else, I got out with friends,  I have 10 GCSE's and I am on the level of a normal person sometimes it just takes me longer to do things. Due to that I was refused treatment until we threatened to take legal action.

Those actions made me decide to get into Campaign photography and fight for the rights of others. Even though I still go back to all area's of photography. I mean who blames me I love photography. I am now at University studying my first year. This website will document  how my photograph will change with my experiences at university.
